For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Budget:
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*:

For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A SEPARATE THREAD.

----

NOTE: there is not much time left in 2017, given that travel tends to be expensive around holidays. You will have greater chances of success if you have greater flexibility on travel dates and cost. If you need a lot of MQMs on weekends only for < 5 cpm it probably won't happen.

Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
----

*"Required Metal or Codeshares" is, approximately, asking whether you need a flight operated specifically by Delta or if partner flights are ok. If you are just looking for MQMs to hit a Medallion tier the normal way, then the answer is yes. If you are doing a status challenge, the answer is also probably yes, but read the T&C of your challenge carefully to be sure (for the regular status challenge the answer is also "yes")

NOTE: some partner flights earn MQMs at reduced rates. See this chart for more info.

If you are willing to go up to Vancouver, BC. China Eastern, YVR-PVG-SIN-PVG-YVR out on Dec. 19 and returning Dec. 21 is between $1000 - $1100 USD depending on routing chosen. It will get you about 18,000 MQM

To get the other 2000 MQM, you can do something like SEA-PHX-SEA for $205 on Dec. 16 (day trip)

Departure Airport: SEA
Miles Needed: 20,000
Required Spend or Budget: 1500.
Available Travel Dates: 12/16-12/22

Return 10/31-11/2

Required budget: under $2400

Trying to decide if it's worth it to go for Gold or Silver given Delta limited support of Houston and the number of miles I need.

I'd be wanting to make 40k miles happen on a budget of about $1200 for gold or 15k miles happen for about $500-$600.
IAH-SLC-SEA-HKG-SEA-SLC-IAH out 9/13 return 9/15 is $577, 16694 miles. Similar price available some other days.

Another option that Zorak just posted about are the LAX-MSP-ANC flights for 8100 miles and costing $289 (E)/$ 304 (X). Check out the thread:

Your flight transits Seattle. OP was talking about transiting MSP.

Thanks. Stupid me. But even then, this should make a 4000 miles difference?

MSP is pretty far to the east of LAX, and ANC is fairly farther west than you might expect. The miles add up fast.

http://www.gcmap.com/mapui?P=LAX-MSP-ANC,+ANC-SEA-LAX

A few years ago when I was a *A flyer, I did SMF-DEN-LGA-IAH-ANC-ORD-LGA-IAH-SMF for something like $450 all in and earned a staggering amount of miles, those were the days.

The cheapest options are PEK and PVG:

RDU-LAX-PVG-SEA-RDU: 16,776 mls, $575, 3.4 cpm

HKG and SIN cost way more

RDL ATL ICN SIN ICN ATL RDU: 21,056 mls, $976 = 4.6 cpm
