For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Budget:
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*:

For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A SEPARATE THREAD.

----

NOTE: there is not much time left in 2017, given that travel tends to be expensive around holidays. You will have greater chances of success if you have greater flexibility on travel dates and cost. If you need a lot of MQMs on weekends only for < 5 cpm it probably won't happen.

Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
----

*"Required Metal or Codeshares" is, approximately, asking whether you need a flight operated specifically by Delta or if partner flights are ok. If you are just looking for MQMs to hit a Medallion tier the normal way, then the answer is yes. If you are doing a status challenge, the answer is also probably yes, but read the T&C of your challenge carefully to be sure (for the regular status challenge the answer is also "yes")

NOTE: some partner flights earn MQMs at reduced rates. See this chart for more info.

Miles Needed: 7 MQS
Required Spend or Budget: <$700
Available Travel Dates: December 22nd-31st
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*: Domestic Only

7 MQS short for Diamond the hard way. Lots of east coast travel this year left me short of my MQMs. I am willing to fly to NYC to get a delta deal. PWM is strongly preferred, other airports will incur many more expenses.

Flying to NYC not worth it for segments (most of the cheaper fares require non-stop routing).

Not seeing anything less than $300 out of PWM with 4 segments (although there are some that are close).

PWM-CMH from $314 on the 29th.
PWM-BNA from $338 on the 25th.
PWM-CHI from $355 on the 24th.
BOS-CHI from $205 on the 24th.
MHT-BNA from $235 on the 24th
BOS-RIC from $229 on the 30th. (3 segments)

I looked at the MCO flights, they only come out to 1000MQM? do you know if delta will let me slide by 2 miles?!

Not sure where you are getting that. JFK-MCO is 944 miles each way, so a roundtrip will earn 1888 MQM's total. You know MCO is Orlando, right? By the way, there's only 1 seat left in the bucket for that fare. I suggest booking it quickly.

BOS-WAS, some tickets still in the $200s (e.g. Dec. 24) and $300's. 4 segments

Quick run

Departure airport: DTW
Miles needed: 1,901 MQMs
Required spend: $260 MQDs
I am just a little short of re-earning Silver Status. I really would rather not spend the $599 that Delta wants from me to buy back up. I'd prefer a same day or 1 night trip this weekend (12/8-9) or next (12/15-16). Thanks, in advance for any help.

12/8, 12/15 or 12/16 DTW-DEN can be done for less than $400 and yields 2246 MQMs.

If you are willing to tolerate an E fare it can even be done for $330 ($286 of which is MQD) on 12/8.

How about a weekend trip to Sin City in First:
BOS-LAS, Dec. 14-15, 7144 MQMs, 787 MQDs.
That is pretty darn close, the website shows one seat left at that price ($874). It's the Saturday morning nonstop out and Sunday afternoon nonstop back. Just time to lose a few bucks and take in a show. If you need some Hilton points, the Tru by the airport is less than 100 bucks.

Your best bet will be xmas. Could do ATL-PVD BE for $187. Shorter (but more $ options) include MCI and HOU but both come in slightly under 1400 miles.
