Does anyone know if I can alter the plan, I'm on Etihad 3/4 times (long-haul) to Hong Kong however, BA have miscalculated the points (over). I know that I can't earn on Etihad even under a codeshare however would there be a chance to change onto a full air berlin itinerary? Considering the booking class being (C)

Almost certainly not, at least not without paying to the current fare.

I do not believe you can get AB metal into HKG even if the change was free.

Sure, just call them and they'll happily charter a flight just to fly you there! Seriously, stick to what you have, lie as low as possible, and pray that they don't cancel it and that will be huge already.

Air Berlin doesn't fly to Hong Kong so there is no way you can change to a "full air berlin itinerary"?

Just be glad you got a cheap ticket.

At the airlines ;-)

They get catched not directly so sometimes they are live for hours before someone noticed and book this fares and spread the word on FT.
