Technically there was so many fares being reloaded that in Sabre it took more than one hour to update all. At the time of the above post some were still being fixed.

Was Australia available? And why the fares were only available on the Gotogate/Seat24/Travelstart/etc group?

Give Etihad a call then, they will give it to you. Done this before on the AZ/EY fare MAD-HKT on New Year's day.

Yeah I was thinking of it. I'll wait a few days before doing that though!

Why do u want to see it on EY website ? Any benefit from that or can u book seats there ?
The ticket is visible on AB website but ofc u cant select seats for the EY operated flights..

Yes this and I was also wondering whether this fare would be eligible for the EY perks like a hotel room (given the long layover in AUH) or the chauffeur...

Only if you believe that it was first alive when it posted here. The fare was alive for a few hours, not just 10 minutes.

What makes you think that was the case?

Yes, no problem! But should they unexpectedly insist in checking it through to final destination, you can still get sick in DUS (e.g. after eating a German Bratwurst), abandon your trip and claim your luggage.

I am well aware fares are not "born" on FT or the blogs, of course. But I know where they die.
