Unless I'm not thinking straight at this early hour, no way to get around the 7 day min stay right?

Thanks, just booked two rt tickets, one in sept with the 787 directly, the other one via BNE and the 747. got ticketed on both, so hopefully it won't get cancelled.
The booking confirmation for the first flight (on AA metal) was with lastminute and says that I can check-in two luggages per person. Not that I need it, but is this a new policy I don't know of? I haven't provided my ff# yet, so it can't be the extra allowance...

Qantas flights go through SYD so it would be a good one way price, just throw away the return.
There are some deals on Delta right now for RT to SYD in the $500-600 range right now from SFO or LAX with other airlines similar from other airports.
