AA MR Request from SJO
 

Looking for creative ways to get to a business conference in YYZ.

I will leave SJO on May 13th and need to be there that night (or super early morning on 14th)

I can leave YYZ the earliest at 6pm on May 17th and would like to be home (SJO) by May 18th.

I'm looking for creative ways to get there to maximize my elite miles on AA. So far I have SJO-MIA-DFW-YYZ-LAX-JFK-DCA-MIA-SJO for a total of 10334 miles and $943. I'm trying to stay under $1000.

Not too much better, but I routed through CLT instead of MIA and BOS instead of JFK:

SJO-DFW-CLT-DCA-YYZ-CLT-LAX-ORD-BOS-MIA-SJO

It prices out to ~$927 on AA (though Google also says $943) for 11095 miles.
