Looks like this fare is gone.

Feel free to add the fare you bought including: the route, date and final price.

Any one with real experience that ANA actually requires everyone to claim their luggages at LAX (port of entry) even though the next connecting flight on AC is heading straight to Toronto? Just need to determine if I should travel light with just a carry-on or checkin a luggage. Thanks!

Smile

I booked LAX-NRT-BKK-NRT-LAX-YUL on Hotwire for $469.00, for travel in September. I also booked the LAX-YUL leg for the day AFTER I arrive in LAX, thus creating a <24 hour "stopover" in LAX (as I will need to have checked luggage).

You realize that everyone claims their luggage upon arrival into the US right? You can simply collect your bags at immigration and go home.

So one has to claim luggages even if the connecting flight goes straight to a Canadian city? (Another word, just transiting through US.)

Yes, I do realize that, but in the case of "irregular operations" anything can happen. If my NRT-LAX flight got cancelled at the minute for some reason, who knows how they might rebook me, since my final destination is YUL.

Yes, and you have to go through the wonderful TSA.

Not always anymore when in I:I transit, but in this case it would be required.

Hello, smb12:

What is "in this case"?
- same day I:I transfer or
- next day I:I transfer or
- both

Thank you in advance! I am just trying to get a precise answer especially LAX-to-YYZ transfer!

I have a unique question...

Flights is from JFK, returning to Toronto.

NH leaves at 11:15AM from T7.
AC scheduled to arrive JFK T7 at 9:47AM -

NH says MCT is 1HR 15MIN (called). They said I can book that flight on a separate ticket as it meets MCT.

Thoughts?

Not hard to just insist on connecting in LAX. Done it many times.

Anyway, glad you got the fare you wanted.

It's fine, should be plenty of time to hang around. I've done the exact routing in August (tho the NH departure was an hour later)
