Thanks OP for this deal.
Tried a lot of websites. It seems the best deal I can get is 935 euro from www.bourse-des-vols.com
E fare earns 300% on Etihad so it's pretty much a good deal.

I don't fly skyteam/etihad otherwise so maybe I will try to find the 743 euro deal before I pull the trigger...

You can get this at Kayak.com but when you click into Alitalia it list as business class but fare rules says Economy class

If I get it right, it should be Alitalia's E fare, which earns 300% on Etihad.
I can't find the 800ish fare for my dates sadly..

OK I managed to find the 815 USD fare.
Kayak shows 1090 on Alitalia's official website, but when I click it through, it is showing 815 USD instead

Yeah the fare rules are for coach but the seat selection shows business class seats.

Well, this time it seems that the fare rule are just not right because even AZ shows the flights as business class, and seat selection goes into business. So any reasonable customer would expect this to be business. Besides the rules seem to show this as flexible/refundable

I just called Alitalia and successfully booked May 7-May 21 MAD-FCO-AUH-HKT (v.v)
for $1105.33
Cust service confirmed seats on Alitalia portion (2d and 2c) but on EY he asked me to call them with my record locator, but confirmed that ALL segments are in BUSINESS CLASS (E). No change fees, only fare difference, and fully refundable w/ $20 fee.

I got to book all my seats (all business class) even on EY portions, plus booked the chafffeur services. EY and Alitalia customer service was not even surprised on the low fare so I did not trigger anything negative there. the call was seamless, it took 9 minutes for him to book.

To Darmajaya: do NOT call the airline!

i just booked through eDreams. Paid 945.
shows up in my KLM with my flying blue number. all says business there.
i not see anything related to economy whatso-ever.

AZ wouldn't book direct; gives error at payment page.

so don't call the airline. book on an OTA. and we might be lucky.

anyone knows if the EY legs will gives miles to FB?

Yeh and rule number 2 is that there is always going to be one ....... that breaks rule 1.

I suggest publicly admitting to calling the airline should result in a ban from flyertalk.
