AA mileage runs before 2015 ends?
 
I need about 13k miles to hit executive platinum for this year. Has anyone found any good mileage runs before the year ends? (preferably out of LAX, but I am flexible) Or is there a good place to search for great mileage runs?

Presumably you mean 2015 ;)

flights.google.com is a pretty good resource. Enter LAX as an origin, restrict to AA, pick the dates you can travel, and go to town on the map. The "Mileage Run Deals/Discussion" Flyertalk forums are also helpful.

Check the MR forum. Also what is your budget and time constraints. Flying between 12-1 and 12-15 tends to be cheaper and starts to escalate after that. You are likely looking at an International run or three transcons.

I'm scheduled for LAX-MIA-PTY and back (Business) in December that I found on the Premium Fare portion of the Mileage Run board. With the Premium Bonus, it nets 13,972 EQPs. Not sure if EQPs help you.

It's tough, but 13,972 EQP for ~$700 isn't bad.

Not always easy to get on short notice, i'd look into the Caribbean suggestions.

My fav MR's out of LAX have been to Asia. LAX-ORD-DFW-HKG is a must at 10653 miles each way
