No, I was using DL as I wanted to use my DL AmEx Plat, plus certain pairs of flights are DL codeshares with VS anyway.

Do you have a sample? Only see Madrid in the same ballpark AA/BA are playing in.

If you are logged in to AARP site, you can go directly to this link http://discounts.aarp.org/offer/inde...HAE-LP-SC2-RL4 and click BOOK NOW

You MUST click on dates, select dates, and then click out. Javascript will only then change the Class box from Economy only to including Economy, Club World, First, etc.

Booked family of 4 on LAX-LHR-BCN on 77W over Thanksgiving.
One aarp login worked for all 4 plus maxed out avios discount at 4x30K. 25K extra AA bonus makes is even better.
Interestingly MAD was not allowing avios copay but BCN was fine.

Unusually prices from the west coast are just as low as from the east coast...

Booked three, JFK-LHR-MAD-LHR-JFK, SFO-LAX-LHR-SFO, JFK-LHR-JFK. ~$450 a/i for each. Not to shabby for a truckload of miles/points.

Just booked JFK-LHR-VIE, FCO-LHR-JFK in a mix of AA and BA business class for $1000pp for travel in July. Considering I was planning to book this trip in Y for the same price and pray for SWUs to clear I think this is a killer price!

Yes, the EQP promotion requires AA flight numbers.

The AARP site worked for me, but I'm having issues with the Part Payment. I just signed up for a BA Account -- my error is: "Sorry, you do not have enough Avios in this account to use Avios part payment." Any tips?

Can't get past "verify membership" on the AARP website. Keep refreshing (clicking?)

Yo! Direct interpretation of the sentence. If you don't have Avios in your account, how are you doing to pay in part with Avios?

Just keep trying. I had to click dozens and dozens of times, then it finally worked.
