I didn't think this deal is dead - more likely it's FTers booking up what's available!! I've noticed dates disappearing as I've been looking, but now whole days are suddenly showing up as unavailable at any price, so guessing IT's coffee break is over.
I made a dummy booking. I couldn't see the reserve for 24hr option on the German site. Very interesting selecting seats - an option I don't normally get on my deep discount Y seats! Also interesting how many were blocked out already!
Also, I'm assuming you could cancel within 24 hours as per standard - or is that not a universal option?
