Those people who've called BA, have you had your fares sent off to the fares desk? You will be on hold for a few minutes when that happens, or sometimes they call you back after checking.

If it came back okay I don't see how it can be a mistake fare.

Just booked with AA for £410 - I missed out on 60 TPs by having same flight number for BOS-LAX-SFO, but worth the trade-off (less than 50p per TP, and about 30,000 Avios, with a couple of days around a bank holiday!)

ETA - and the email confirmation is in!

Matched? See post 1

AA/AY/BA/IB price all their trans atlantic routes together at the same price. I imagine they have an automated system to distribute the many hundreds of thousands of fares they must keep synchronized.

Availability can interfere with which particular flight is available for a listed price on a given day but the actual fares and fuel surcharges are the same.

If the Star Alliance joint venture matches, then I think we can safely say it's no mistake.

Maybe they sell some seats cheap as promo. and after as less seats available over charge those who fly on expense of company and do not care about fares :-)

Just come off the phone with a very nice AA agent - the AA Tariff department has confirmed that the original ticket was wrongly priced at £540.89..... the new price it seems is now actually £321.89, so they will be posting me a voucher for £119.00

I'm sceptical that this will end well, but we shall see...

wrong as always 340 EUR R/T

@Calchas

he just want to post the lowest price to catch attention. The problem is that he will not be able to find the lowest price since 340€ is the lowest one :P
