Booked OSL-LHR/LCY-SNN-JFK-LHR-OSL on AA.com for $542.40 USD so we shall see how that goes.

Unable to price it on ba.com or aa.com anymore.
I was able to see the price via an OTA but that booking is now in limbo.
Fingers crossed.

I was unable to get any AA-codeshare to ticket in any shape or form. Just as well, don't they have their CoC updated to mention no mileage earning or promotions on mistake fares?
Well if it's the AAdvantage rules then the original carrier won't be important

If you are crediting to BAEC or elsewhere then it's good ^

Try replicating through multicity.

Weird, BA.com pulls from the GDS same as any other travel agent (AFAIK) not through a special direct feed.

Deleted. Unless AA renews a promo to compete with DL, not sure.

I'd very strongly recommend waiting before doing that. While we all hope that the fares are honoured, unless you fancy a trip to Oslo anyway, it is best to wait a few days...

Now...positioning flight and overnight hotel beforehand at OSL a reasonable expense to get reimbursed when cancelled?

What's the rush to call and cancel. Just wait. You either have at least 11-24 hours to cancel or you don't have a free window to cancel, so no point in calling. Even mentioning what you did above is likely to invite criticism, so skip the calls and just wait it out for several hours at least.

In terms of the current EQP bonus on AA: am I right that this is only on AA/US marketed flights? And this promo is good until end of 2015?
