That's an excellent comment, by the way. Does their 3x miles promotion apply to bookings made before the promotion started?

OK, multicity seems to work for straight easy routing. I am trying to incorporate the MEL-SYD bit and it falls over. Any way to get it to work direct to Etihad?

Depends about the promo,sometimes they do sometimes they don´t.Etihad is unpredictable airline.But their redemption went recently worse,generally. You have enough time to search and think about crediting,most important is to book until the fare is available.

Last bookable date in booking calendar for any flight is June 15th 2016.

As i never flied EY biz... a couple of questions to those of you who did.
Is there wifi on board? Electrical outlets?
Do they provide free hotel in AUH? Visa assistance?

Booked, all in RUB98000 --> £1100 - CHEAPEST EVER TRIP TO BKK AND SYD I have seen!

A388 and 77W have WiFi on board. US,EU and USB electrical outlets available.
No free hotel but they do visa assistance through their website and you will get it free if you book hotel through them.

It could be (I do not know your flight information)but UAE visa is not included(at extra cost if needed),so I would contact them and ask which of those two offers suites better to you.

How are people managing to book this on the EY site?

When I try to add the BKK-SYD leg, it won't let me select SYD as the destination... Probably doing something stupid but any help would be appreciated!

Amazing! also possible to add Virgin Australia with a stop at MEL or Jet airways with a stop in India on the way to BKK....
