If you not yet have the card (Citi AA EXE or Prestige), right now it may be too late to get one just for this deal.

Yup, I paid the same price.
One person was $1540. The second person has to pay 560 for fuel surcharge and 129 for tax.
From ITA, Q 280 from SFO-MEX and Q 280 from MEX-SFO. Is that the fuel surcharge?

Can you get miles and MQM (on Delta) for both tickets if you use the 2-4-1?

might make more sense to position to ORD if you have the elite MC; I fares ex-ORD are around 1200, J fares are ~1500. Whereas ex-BOS J inventory is a lot more expensive.

Just booked SFO to EZE over Christmas. Paid for the extra "premier" (ended up $1575 ai) so it is fully refundable just in case :) Not bad layovers or flight times.

I used a MasterCard and it went through, but I did get a call from the fraud department making sure I had authorized it.

Now gotta start my research... visa, lounges in SFO-Mexico City-EZE, hotels, etc etc.

I definitely prefer bulkhead seats. Does anyone have an opinion as to whether row 1 or 5 on the 788 is better?

Thanks. That's what I booked. But I'm still thinking of another round trip. This kind of deal makes Diamond a lot more achievable.

Interesting. The website clearly says 3/31/2016. T&Cs say t it does have to be booked into J. I haven't been able to find anything in J worth booking (from MIA), since I'm late to the party.

Trying to talk with a different rep but now the flights I wanted end of March are sold out. She says her system is letting her confirm companion seat after 12/31/15 even though terms says it is ok.
