Anyone else having trouble choosing a seat on their BA/Open Skies flight? I bought via Iberia (needed to do layover in MAD get back to JFK early to catch a business flight to SAN, instead of the 16:30 nonstop). I tried choosing on both Iberia and BA's sites. BA is saying "Seat choices are available at check-in."

BA IT is not great
It may be better to telephone BA (now we know it is not a mistake fare)
Alternatively try the multicity tool on BA.com. But it is pretty awful.

If you're asking do/did they exist, yes. I saw them while browsing yesterday -- think they were listed as codeshares (BA#/AA metal). Of course, availability is a factor with each passing hour.

You need to sign up for AARP membership, then log on to the BA - AARP joint site, which is a sub-website of BA.com for AARP members. It will give you $400 discounts per roundtrip in Club World booking but you must depart from the U.S. I believe. Then you need to have a U.S. based Chase BA Visa Signature card, which will give you another 10% off the entire amount.
