Need advice on 10K MR on AA out of DC area

A little bit background. Employer switched partner airline from United to AA/US this year and our travel agency got me matched to AA Platinum until 2/16 (pleasant surprise, thought would be a challenge). Now I need 10K to get Executive Platinum. Is there a MR run out of DCA/IAD/BWI to get 10K with one trip?
Thanks

Do you need 10K EQM or EQP?

I think it is EQM. From my online account, it says "Miles needed to earn elite upgrades 10,000". Also, when speaking with their reps on the phone, I was also told 10K miles.

Depending on the EQP/EQM issue, thought I had you covered here, but leaves you about 1,000 miles short by my math. Do you have any work travel to cover the difference?

What is telling you that you need 10k miles to get Executive Platinum status? The "Miles needed to earn elite upgrades 10,000" refers to the benefit that you get 4x500mile upgrades for every 10k miles flown. Do you have other documentation stating you will get Executive Platinum status for flying 10k EQM or EQP?

WAS-DFW-LIH is just over 10000 miles round trip. I suggest that you post the exact text of your Executive Platinum offer here so that we can make an appropriate suggestion.

Oops, my bad. You are right. The 10K is for upgrades, not for executive Platinum.
