I have several IFTTT recipe for the mileage run forum for various keywords (my airports interest, AA, DL, UA). Does anyone have a recipe for any/all new post for that forum?

I also found that IFTTT sometimes work instantly, but sometimes with delays.

Yes, that is another problem that causes me to obsessively look at the Mileage Run Deals forum 10 times a day (when I'm on my computer).

I guess I can keep coming up with relevant key words to catch more new threads, but if someone post "Works from DTW also!" within the thread and not in the title, I don't think IFTTT will inform me".

You would have to edit it for your own keywords and how it notifies you.

I ended up download a run of the mill rss reader for android.I get a popup on every new thread to MR deals and for TFD I set up one for my 2 closest airports

newbie here.. could you please let me know how to set this up in IOS?

I have not tried this but sounds like it does the same thing as mine. Push notifications when RSS feeds are updated
