Flight Changes
Many changes have been made due to Etihad schedule changes. In some cases, connecting flights are being swapped to nonstops. Some have been able to get this changed back by calling Etihad, others have not. You may have to repeat call / HUCA to get it switched back.

The Points Guy (TPG) is reporting that these fares were DESIGNED by Etihad and that Etihad even maintained communications on their social media regarding the success of fare buyers!

Someone I know who follows these things told me EY might be headed for trouble with IATA over pricing practices, so there's grist for the conspiracy-theory mill. Hard to complain as a passenger, though. But one wonders how generous they can continue to be if this oil-price thing stays down, as the UAE is one of the major countries losing revenue over it. Seems like you've got lots of potential long-range overcapacity between Emirates, Etihad and Qatar.

I’m still trying to understand why this fare has attracted so much attention this time. Seems like every 60-90 days EY has some glitch like this. Perhaps this time it went more viral then the others. With the post count this high I can't help thinking where everyone has been for the other great deals this year.

I was looking into the possibility of getting exit row seats in a couple weeks but based on a review on seat guru it looks like it turns what was already a narrow seat into one reticulately so since the traytable is in the armrest. I for one would prefer added width than leg room but then again I'm only flying them dub-auh-dub. As a side note it looks like they want $100 each way for the dub-auh segments on their online seat selection tool but even if I pick standard seats it errors out and they won't stick.
