US mileage run routing problem (ITA problem?)
Hey guys,
This is probably just my inability to use ITA and google flight. I want to do two trips from BOS to asia for the 30000miles US challenge. Ideally, I want to fly to NRT or TPE. I know AA flies ORD-NRT, so I tried to force out BOS-ORD-NRT-TPE (by JAL), but no matter what I do, they always give me the trans-pacific segment in JAL. I can't do -codeshare because AA doesn't fly NRT-TPE... I could just do two BOS-HKG for $1800, and honestly that's probably the best way, but if I'm going back to Asia anyway, I don't mind spending 2-300 to see my family :P (Or cherry blossom haha) Thanks in advance! |

Are you searching specific dates? AA's ORD-NRT is only operating 5 days a week this winter. |

You won't get any credit for the HKG-TPE legs but you will get a lot more miles for your challenge.
