AA/US: Need 12K from ATL
 

Looking to complete the US Trial Preferred before Jan 3 and I am a little over halfway to CP. Have 18k now and need another 12K to cross the finish line. Has to be on AA or US metal only--no partners. Also has to be BIS miles, no bonus or class counts for the trial. :( Any ideas under, say, $750? Can travel week of Thanksgiving but otherwise would have to be long weekends. Thanks for any help!

BOS-HNL is over 10000 miles and priced around $600. BOS-ATL is at least 1890 miles and priced around $260. Do a multicity routing on aa.com to get it on one ticket.
For example, ATL-BOS 12/6, BOS-HNL-BOS 12/7, BOS-ATL 12/8, price on aa.com is $844.10, more than 12000 miles (check the mileage yourself to be sure).
