in true FT fashion, i'm trying to use this to get to a tuesday wedding in florida (i'm BOS-based). it appears to work! my only issue is that i could go without a 20h layover at JFK.

does anyone have an idea as to whether i would have a shot at standby on an earlier B6 codeshare flight?

Thank you OP! I booked ORD-KWI with a 3 day stopover in Dubai in mid October. Emirates ads are all over Chicago touting their service to Dubai so this is a great promotion for this new direct route! Have spent time in the Arabian peninsula before and have very rudimentary Arabic, but as a solo female traveller would welcome some company. Any others travelling at the same time?

Been thinking about a weekend trip from BOS for 430, just to take a look at Kuwait and DXB and to check out Emirates. Not sure if its worth that, what with the miles being useless for me. No one else seems to be jumping on the east coast fares, though.

The airline can book only 333 days in advance so the furthest they can book is June 30 2015. For August booking you will have to wait till September 2014 for the seats to open up.

Did you really think a fare this low to Kuwait on a 5-star airline was normal? You can't even get to Europe for that cheap on a low cost carrier. Why is this so hard to understand?
