Had issues, and gave up on Ek's website, which feel like .bomb's brother.. Orbitz went through successfully! IAD-KWI (a380 immediate turnaround and one night at DXB)... good sept mileage run weekend

The fare rules say you can stop over in Dubai but every time I try to do that it almost doubles the price. Looking at the first week in October. Ugh!

Thursday ex IAH have been giving me the price PM me dates, but I'll be leaving the office shortly.

As a guide, I only saw Thu/Fri/Sat departures available for IAH.

Booked a Friday to Sunday (8 nights) for $409 with a 5 day layover in Dubai.

you can do cathay pacific in Prem Econ for ~$800 one-way dxb-ord.
return in PE for ~$1500. not the cheapest option but certainly more comfortable.
free stopovers in hkg.

Seems the majority of the fares for the Emirates ORD->KWI have been sold and are getting more expensive...

I believe that Business class ex-DXB on CX is about $1900 w/no stopover in HKG, about $2300 with stopover.

Just booked one IAH-KWI in Oct for $385.8

Want to book another one departing from one eastern city(JFK, BOS, etc) on Nov 15, then can come back any time.. but didn't get similar fare rule..
Any suggestions?

Booked ORD-DXB-KWI $317 9/11-9/14
Just booked myself a trip to Kuwait City. I thought one full day and one night there ought to be enough. I want to go to the souk and fish market for some photography.

Only flew EK in F Suite one time BKK-HKG last year. It was great. I have no idea what their Y is like. I hope it's OK, making this 14-hour flight bearable.

I've been looking for labor day weekend and the best i've found is BOS-KWI-ORD for $620 departing the august 28th and returning august 31st.

Has anyone been able to find anything better?

Was anybody able to find dates in 2015 as suggested in the original post?


Flights are also bookable for travel in April, May and early June.
Check ITA for dates
bookable on several sites
