Booked for $862 out of Chicago ORD.
Forced it through Denver on outbound, and Houston on the return to avoid the 747.
Doing it as a 'vacation run' for a week over Labor Day.
Was planning on going elsewhere for 3 or 4 days (Yangon/Lombock). The We The Fest' sounds interesting, but can't say that I've ever even heard a song by any of the artists.

Thank you OP!!!
I booked one from IAH at 4.0cpm for two nights. I plan to stay at nearby Sheraton (looks like an ok deal at 4000 SPG points/night), hit some golfballs and take a SilverBird cab to see the town.

This deal is delicious. For some reason, I can't work-in an NRT stop using .bomb
Anyone else tied a stop anywhere outside of the US?

This started as a Jakarta mileage run and turned into a defacto Hawaii trip over Veteran's Day weekend.
Sat, Nov 8
UA 1500, ORD 05:30 - IAH 08:05
UA 0253, IAH 09:20 - HNL 13:53
Sun, Nov 9
UA 0879, HNL 12:05 - NRT 16:00+1
NH 0835, NRT 17:40 - CGK 23:30
Tue, Nov 11
NH 0836, CGK 06:25 - NRT 15:55
UA 0880, NRT 18:55 - HNL 06:55+0
UA 0218, HNL 16:45 - ORD 04:58+1
Includes an overnight in Hawaii on the outbound and probably a quick trip to the beach on the way back. I'm travelling with two friends who will stay in Jakarta for two days then Tokyo for another three, so it'll be a lot of lonely sleeping on the way back heh.

It should have a $35 stamp and the exit fee is now 200,000 IDR

My son-in-law will take a couple of MRs in January with immediate turnaround on the NH flight, taking advantage of the low fare. I read the VOA is good for 30 days. Since he has two trips within 20 days, does that mean that the visa needs to be paid once? I am afraid, the answer is no, right?

Interesting. We flying in out of Cgk but visiting se Asia. Was preparing to pay fee twice. But if it is good for 30 days, maybe same visa will cover both entries?

If this is a multiple entry visa, you can enter the same country multiple times. If it is a single entry visa, it is only good for one entry. The validity of 30 days is not relevant. But I do not know whether my understanding is correct for Indonesia.
Edit: Google search answers my question: Visa on Arrival is basically a single-entry social visit visa.
