Seeking Milage Runners for tv-project
Hi,
Is there anyone that have an extraordinary milage run coming up in the near future? If so I would like to join you.
Dosen't matter where you are located or where you are going.
Send me a PM and we could talk about the details.
Kristian

What would you consider extraordinary? I'm flying back and forth between Detriot and Houston in first class next weekend taking advantage of this fare.
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/milea...-50-first.html
I'm currently on a trial UA Gold promotion where if I fly 12500 miles by end of May (already flown 4K+ from my non MR trips), I will earn 20K bonus miles and extend my gold status till next year.
So basically between next sat and sun, I will be flying
ORD->IAH in coach (booked on 12500 miles)
IAH->DTW->IAH->DTW->IAH->DTW in first (cost $321)
DTW->ORD->STL (cost $91 but I'm ditching last leg, DTW->ORD fare would cost double)
I will earn 13K (from flying) + 20K (bonus miles) + food/drinks in first - $321 - $91 - 12.5K + UA Gold till next year from doing this MR.

The really nutso Mileage Runs are more-likely to happen between September and November, when fares are cheaper and FTers are desperate to top off to get the elite level they wish.

Awesome MR's
Skunker. May i ask what ppm you paid for the impressive MR you'flying this weekend.
I thought i was crazy when i did my first international MR of iah-iad-bah and return in the spring @4.2ppm, but west coast to bkk via mid east is awesome. Where did you find the fare, ita matrix?
Please advise.
Ken

Thanks again for the private messages, I will reply to them all.
Another specific request - could milage runners (or others that's more than average interested in miles) based in the UK (or Europe) please contact me? You don't need to have a MR booked, but you have hopefully done some MRs in the past.
Thanks a lot
Kristian

Hi,
I have recieved a lot of messages from the US, not a single one from Asia. I will be travelling in Asia this week, and would love to meet up with frequent flyers/milage runners. You don't need to have a milage run booked..
Best,
Kristian

Perhaps you should check into one of the "lounge" threads, where people mention they're going to be in a certain airport at a certain time and if they'd like to join them in the lounge, they'd be happy to have the company. There will likely be some listing airports in Asia. Just a thought...

BQN
I'm flying SAN-SFO-EWR-BQN-EWR-IAH-DEN-SEA-SFO-SAN first weekend of Sept non stop.
And I've upgraded the whole trip with an expiring cert. I am calling it the "1A MR"
