There are two categories of US cities involved, DL hubs and other, generally secondary, airports.
From some DL Hubs, UA P fares are valid to a much wider range of cities in Europe:
SLC/MSP/DTW/ATL/CVG/MEM-AMS/MXP/FCO/CDG/MLA/VCE/TRN/FLR/NAP/PMO/CTA/BUD/PRG/CPH/IST/WAW/ARN/OSL/KRK/PRG/TLL/RIX/etc
(but not JFK nor LAX?)
Other airports are valid to a smaller set of cities in Europe:
BOS/SJC/SMF/MOD/BWI/BUR/ONT/SNA/PSP/HNL/SEA/PDX/AUS/PIT/TUS/TPA/ALB/etc/etc-AMS/MXP/FCO/CDG/MLA/VCE/TRN/FLR/NAP/PMO/CTA/etc
Most UA hubs don't have the fare filed (not SFO for sure), but apparently EWR has at least EWR-VCE/NCE (but not EWR-MXP/PMO/FCO/CDG)
Some destinations in Europe have a slightly higher base fare:
MRS/LYS
(please add more cities to either origin or destination side that are valid)
Be careful in your airline selection - there are PQM/RDM implications to this. For example, for the UA program, UA P earns 150% PQM/RDM, LH P earns 100% PQM/RDM, and it appears that OS P earns nothing.
Similarly it looks like UA P class credited to Aegean (A3) earns nothing. Visit this United webpage then click on the Star Alliance partner to determine mileage earnings.

[FARE GONE] Lots of UA ATL-AMS (and other cities) Z fares; less than $2k for July

Hi Freecia - can you tell if they switched equipment to a Skywest plane w/ no first cabin? If so I would still take it as the bulk of the flights are still in P (right?)
Even if not, you're right that you'd still earn 150% PQM from the Y fare class.
It would be a little ominous if they downgraded your ticket from P to Y if the plane still has a first cabin - perhaps they're chipping away at the fantastic deals they've given out?

If they're going to chip away at the fantastic deal, is there some kind of downgrade compensation I should ask for or would the 3 min schedule change be enough to get a free rerouting/reschedule for a lie flat? I checked the seats on checkmytrip which shows seats assigned to 1C & 1D but lufthansa.com shows the P downgrade to Y with seat map for economy.
I don't want to be greedy but I also like a good deal

The LH portions are still P. My return Skywest LAX-SJC was already in Y but that's a shorter flight than SJC-DEN.

ITA still has it for Skyteam MSP to OTP (Bucharest). Sample date 8/12-8/23. $2058.
Presumably this is an add-on of First to ORD, and then picking up the deal from there. ORD-OTP is $1757. Spirit was showing ~$100 fares MSP-ORD.
It only shows ex-MSP if I use Skyteam in the advance routing code area.

Anyone else get the email from UA re: BusinessFirst sale?
It's a joke! They sent me an email to push a special summer sale, prices are in the $3-4k range, but have same terms and conditions as far as dates and purchase. Glad we all jumped on the REAL sale!

What a great deal ! Managed to grab some flights for my birthday weekend in August, with a buddy- before they disappeared . Headed to Budapest from Salt lake City. SLC-SFO-ORD-MUC-BUD-MUC-YYZ-DEN-SLC for $1530 ai (business class). First flight in Y (CRJ 200) then its P to Budapest on United metal . Managed to get Z class for the Lufthansa flights home in a newly configured A330 .So will get 150% for all flights. 20k PQM and around 34 K redeemable after cabin and elite bonus. Thanks to those posting all the info on this great fare !

They didn't switch equipment as it is still the CRJ700. Expertflyer shows that all of the Biz seats are available.

Just call and asked to be put in J on the segments in question or request a refund. How did a sched change out of SJC take you off a lie flat? There are no lie flat equip into/out of SJC.

Sorry if my message was confusing. DEN-FRA is an angle flat. Was wondering if the schedule change, insignificant as it is, would be enough to allow me to route through LAX-FRA which is a lie flat.

Edited to add; I do enjoy that the sale price for one of my segments, EWR-AMS, is $6905.
