Plenty of C space available. Great for those with a few extra SWUs this year. Just booked one in Nov and upgrades both ways confirmed instantly. Need to find another date that works...

Are you using your 2014 SWUs or your 2013 SWUs? I thought the 2013 expire on 2/28.

The 2014 ones. I've had the prior year SWUs applied to flights beyond the expiration date before but usually they won't let you do that. In the past I have used expiring SWUs on flights where outbound was before expiration and return 3 months after but I believe that was an exception.

TheFlightDeal has already summarized this nicely:
  • San Francisco – $692
  • Newark – $728
  • Washington D.C. – $878
  • Houston – $877
  • Cleveland – $878
  • Denver – $778
  • Atlanta – $880

Valid for travel from September 5th – December 12th for Monday through Thursday departures. Must purchase at least 120 days in advance of departure
I'm doing HKG on Sep 11-16. I always like thumbing my nose at terrorists by flying Sep. 11. eVIPs to be applied shortly.

Re quick turns, don't be such a MR purist: it is not a bad idea to sleep one night between two 16 hour flights! If flying coach, this is strongly recommended.

And from SJC for the lowest price of any city @ $676.60.

And lower yet, by just a smidge, I was able to book an open jaw, SFO-HKG and HKG-SJC for $676.10 to avoid any overnights in the US, each direction with a relatively quick connection at DFW.

There's some C inventory available (I saw up to 4) for dates in early to mid December. I took 12/7 - 12/18, SJC-DFW-HKG, $676. All 4 SWU's cleared for a buddy and I.

I also have 10/1 - 10/15 in the books out of SFO. This was before the price drop so $808ai, but no overnight in DFW. SWU's cleared on this one as well.

Not a bad way to rack up over 76,000 RDM's ^ Thanks OP!

Do we get 100% elite miles with discounted tix? I saw it on AA.com, some booking codes only get 50% now.
