Just have to power walk on the plane. My 70+ year old aunt makes a few 10+ hour flights and allot of 1+ hour flights a year and she always power walks during the flight. She has never had an attendant tell her that she has to sit down, only they are bringing the cart through.

Might help being 5'5", female, and 70+ years old.

All legs are in O at this fare so full EQM and .5 EQP on AA..

You could also do it all in Y+ for $3800 which yields 66,798 EQPs on AA or 5.6 Cents per EQP which is pretty amazing...+50k avios would put the whole thing in club world..(if available of course)

Any idea if it's even possible to stretch this trip to few days apart between each run at same approx price? It's a good opp to pick up many miles to AS account!

Take a few aspirin, wear compression socks, and all will be fine. I did 44K miles in 5.5 days a few years back all in Y and I got through just fine.

You are all missing the worst part of this. FOUR LHR transits! The flying, even in Y, I could handle. But four LHR transits? That's a lot of wasted time that could be spent flying .

Nice that there's no YQ at all.. It's against the law for flights originating from Brazil.. That's why I love using my miles on flights on BA from here in rio.

I want ahead and booked it in Y+.. I gave my self an extra day in LAX on both ends..

Eeek that itinerary looks brutal!! Not sure of the scheduling, but maybe there is a way to work in a sub-24hr transit or two?
