No. Once you book on AA it is sold and there is no going back.

Usually they do. Carriers seem to not care about Y much.

Yep, I'm seeing plenty. Just no cheap positioning fares from LAX.

Just booked SAT-MEX-SCL-EZE-MEX-SAT for $326.62 all-in via Priceline for January 2014. Had to create a multi-city itinerary on Hipmunk first, disregard the suggested $941 price, click through to Priceline, receive the notification of the lower fare, and complete the booking. I engineered a 15-hour layover at SCL to do some sightseeing in Santiago, but had I looked for a shorter layover or connection, I could have purchased the itinerary for as low as $296.62 all-in.

Thank you for sharing the fare, wpj.

Booked one on Orbitz. Found same dates for $130 on Expedia but Orbitz isn't allowing me to cancel only, so I guess I'll stick with the extra 20 bucks.

I'd just gotten email from my parents with their proposed travel dates to EZE/SCL and figured I should check FT before booking... Thanks, WPJ! ^

Just booked a long weekend: MEX-LIM-SCL-AEP/EZE-LIM-MEX for $130 on AA!

I tried it on Orbitz and that came out to $152. Couldn't get it to price at all on Lan.com

It's "pending" on AA - hopefully the ticket will generate soon!
