Segment Run Tips / Ideas
 

Hello all! First time poster, long time forum troll. I hit EXP with AA this past year and it looks like I am going to be 13 segments short this year. I'd really like to get those under my belt, but am struggling to find good deals for segment runs. I'm based out of TUL, so the TUL/DFW rt is an option, but I'd have to take it 7 times. Trying to knock it out in bigger chunks. Any suggestions? I've heard of TUL/LBB for pretty cheap, but didnt know if there were any known flight combinations for a good deal with more than 4 segments.

As you noted, looks like TUL-LBB is a pretty good deal at $184-$188 for a day trip with 4 segments. I also see TUL-MSP available for $173 roundtrip with 4 segments on Saturday Dec 7 and a few other Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Dec.

You could possibly use multicity to get more segments in a day-- TUL-LBB, LBB-AUS, AUS-TUL can be done in a day for $305 and 6 segments.

Thank you for the reply and for the info! Is there a certain site you are using to find those deals? I've tried guessing willy nilly in Kayak or AAs site, but havent had any luck finding those cheap deals. Just wondering if I'm missing some magical site. Hehe!
