Wish this worked from LAS. Any other cities it works for?

Funny, I picked up a direct turn MIA-ASU-MIA for $459 yesterday...very good deal but not as good as ex-LAX apparently! I found only dates in November and early December worked. I stayed in ASU a few nights last year and flew AA from MIA if anyone has any questions...interesting place that's worth a couple days. Also a good jumping off point for Iguazu Falls.

I have been looking at these ASU fares (I already have a valid visa for Paraguay) but I was wondering if anyone has actually done the same-day turn? If I recall, it was a fairly slow and inefficient airport, I am not sure you could actually make it in time to turn around for the next flight.

Overall, I found ASU not the most interesting place, but there is some very good food downtown (Taberna Espanola and Lido Bar were particularly tasty) and a bit more history (Asuncion Palace Hotel, within walking distance of downtown and both restaurants). Lots of heavily armed men everywhere, but overall, people were very friendly.

Never done same day turn but I remember when I landed I was in a cab in literally 5 minutes after de-planing.

Indeed my experience just last weekend as well. Our entire plane had gotten through immigration before we finished getting our visas on arrival (which only took about 5 minutes).

Has anyone done a sameday turn? I have booked a few LAX-MIA-ASU and I have factored in the possible visa fee, but I'm hoping I can stay airside without passing through immigration and kill the two hours between flights?

You must be doing something wrong as there are numerous dates now through end of Nov, but less through Dec. The $472 fare is a same day turn and 1-2 nights jumps up to $513/$517.

Yeah, I've tried it with next year.

I do see availability for SFO-MIA-ASU as well.
For the same $472.

I'm seeing as low as $440 ai now for LAX-MIA-ASU-MIA-DFW-LAX same day turn. Brings that down to 3.56 cpm. Still not as good as via BOS though.

You can travel through other hubs also.

Various dates during first two weeks of December with overnight flight from SEA - STL and selecting the day after departure for STL -GRR leg, as low as $333/7349 MQM = 4.5cpm

[RENE! GRR is an easy drive (I am sure you know) from SBN -Come on up!]

I used Google.com/flights and selected the Delta link at the bottom of the page and it took me all the way to entering passenger and cc info. I think its a valid fare. I am waiting on some funds to purchase mine but hope some of you can take advantage from GRR and surrounding area.
