[FARE GONE] AA: NYC-SCL $902 RT AI business class/J (books into A/I), 6.8 cpm for J
Fare is dead at this price.
With a tip of the hat to FirstClassSE for this post: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/20255670-post8.html
Dug around, found that the fare was mainly for NYC-SCL. Best routing is NYC-DFW-SCL-DFW-NYC. All flights to SCL on AA are on the 763, so no opportunity for a further upgrade using a SWU into 3-class F. Availability through around June 8th.
Edit: 6.8 cpm possible if going NYC-DFW-MIA-SCL-MIA-DFW-NYC, though less availability and generally longer stays in SCL required.
Edit 2: Many other destinations in Chile available for slightly more, including IPC.
Edit 3: Thanks to posters later on in the thread, IPC is now gone. PUQ (Punta Arenas) and others in Chile still available. Also, just to note, US passport holders will need to pay a $160 reciprocal fee to enter Chile (this is the same fee that the US charges to Chilean passport holders to interview for a US visa). Canadian passport holders must pay $132, Australian passport holders $95, and Mexican passport holders $23. http://www.aeropuertosantiago.cl/eng...view&Itemid=51

Depends on whether NYC-DFW or SCL-EZE would be cheaper for you, whether with money or miles. Either would be a pretty solid use of Avios points in this case if you have some to use.

I'd rather go with DFW-EZE sale because 4M J is much better than AA J

Can't say I'd disagree if you're trying to get to EZE. As noted though in the post above mine by lewende, there is MIA-SCL on LA available, not sure which would end up being more miles though.
