Feedback on 1st MR
I've been planning my first DL MR for a while and will finally take the leap later this month. I would like some feedback from the forum, see if there's anything I could do better for future runs. If you need more info - Let me know. Seems a bit harder without access to larger airports. Planning to book tomorrow, so I appreciate anything you all have to offer.
Jan 26: ORF-DTW-FRA-CDG-LHR

Total cost (w/taxes & fees): $1290.50
Total miles: 13,774
According to MileCalc.com = 4.68 cpm

i get 9.37 cpm! 129050 divided by 13374.....looks like mile calc treated the itin as 1 way & doubled the mi....
the web flyer calc shows similar #s....

You can do ORF-CPT for $1170 at the end of the month on DL/KL. Route via DTW/ATL and AMS to maximize miles. Yields about 21,000 MQM's (about 5.6CPM). Immediate returns possible.
To be honest, your pick (9.37CPM and 1 week stay) sounds more like a vacation than an MR.

I'll give it a look! Trying to coordinate this trip with an already scheduled business trip - otherwise, I would maybe spend one night and then come back.
