nice! i just changed mine to that too, except a month earlier.

EDIT: $387.36 on priceline 3/2 LAX-LIM-GRU-SCL, 3/6 SCL-GRU, 3/9 GRU-LIM-LAX

Priceline is also failing for me. This is most aggravating.

I'm not seeing any quick turnarounds. Anyone seeing short stays?

I thought one of the previous posters was able to get about the same price from LAX (via LIM)?

Would you please mind relaying which booking site you used? I'm aiming to go to EZE in March and keep failing to book on priceline. I'd ideally fly out of JFK rather than LGA, which is what I keep coming up with on other sites. Actually, ideally, I'd add a few nights in Lima if the price wouldn't increase that much but am also failing on that front.

Yes...but I am also flying to RGN-YUL a few days earlier ;) :D

LAX-SCL is on LAN - I prefer TAM (for miles) seems like LAX-LIM is on 787. ^

Edited: I received my e-ticket number on Orbitz. :D

Nice! Anybody able to get a similar stopover routing from JFK?

GlobalMischa Nov 25, 2012 11:43 pm

Thank you, amazing deal! Why not book directly on TAM? It seems to be there as well :)

I'm in...nice find!

UA LGA-EZE, EZE-EWR in May. $321 a.i. Booked on PL.

Looks like this works out of SFO too, with all but the last legs on UA metal, for just a bit more. Got SFO-IAD-GRU-SCL-GRU-IAD-SFO for $473 a/i on onetravel in late March -- it has been booked but not ticketed, so crossing my fingers.

I'm able to pull up the itinerary on United's website and the GRU-SCL-GRU legs are in W fare class TAM, and it doesn't look like those are mileage earning. Oh well, $473/14,272 miles = 3.3 cpm during spring break, so I'm still happy. :-)

if you're looking for guaranteed miles and EQM on UA. Just booked via Onetravel for $328. LGA-IAD-GRU-EZE with LGA-IAD-GRU on UA metal. Confirmed with ticket numbers and books into UA G class when i checked on UA.com

Good option, but can't find routings for that price with long layovers in Rio and Sao Paolo like on TAM. For me personally it's worth risking the miles just to have the guaranteed stops, but I'm probably alone.

no, i'm in the same boat. i'm trying to route with long stopovers but am having no luck. while i'd love to earn the miles, i'd rather be able to explore south america a bit more.
