Need Some Expert Help - MR on AA from PHL/NYC area for EQP
Need 2600 EQP to complete a PLT challenge by July 31 on AA. Super flexible on dates/times, ideally out of PHL or EWR, but perfectly willing to use JFK/LGA as well. Have been using the "tools" thread, but haven't found anything yet...help would be most appreciated.

No. I'm just trying to get a good ai price and acheive the 2600 eqp on 1 MR as inexpensively as possible.

2 phl-dfw rt's for under $800 @ 1300 each way is 2600 pts.....
whats the best you have found?
edit to add....what i would do is figure out the routes that would get the bis for 2600 or a few more, price them, put the best on hold, call aa & get the cost to go to a 1 pt/mi fare, & pay the agent fee....

Yeah I did see something similar. I also was thinking about jumping on the DEQM from BOS-DFW (PHL-BOS-DFW-BOS-PHL) even though I'm only looking for EQPs. I was just hoping for something a bit more cost effective.

One sample I do see:
AA: Jul 10 PHL-DFW-GCK-DFW-PHL $173ai (O) (3604mi ~5.1cpm)
(this is available on tue/wed throughout Jul)
-do 2 of these ~$350ai, or (as clacko suggests) call to "upfare" the ticket to one earning 1eqp/mi....
Otherwise, I would recommend checking the MR Deals today through Friday and see if a nice transcon pops up that meets your needs, maybe for less than ~$300ai....

Thx again. There's nothing wrong with what was suggested, as I said in the previous post. Just doing some further legwork before booking.

have you tried to up fare?.....others have reported that you can call aa web/tech services to do it w/o an agent fee, assuming the price is ok of course...
