Thanks for the heads up, OP ^

I'm seeing lots of TG/NH/KE combos in C. F is harder to find, although not impossible. Just takes some patience to find a routing without KE. There was one date that offered SQ C on all three legs for less than $500

Past Mistake fares

DL did honor the $150 to ARN/CPH back in 2011, I also flew them back in 2010 to MAD for 200 bucks (all of these were Y)
KE is most likely going to cancel, after the whole ROR fiasco.

The issue here is that we a multitude of airlines and issuing stock. BA/TG/DL/SQ/KE/CI and god knows what else... all of these issued on various stocks...

so will it stick? maybe, since its hard to determine who is at fault here, is it the longest segment carrier, the issuer, hard to tell...

I have a 500 buck ticket for Jan 2013, I could have flown cheaper, but I wanted to try the Thai 380. Too bad it's in business and not first!

I already have RT award seats on UA for a planned trip to Myanmar in July. I found one way seats on ANA (sorry, what's the code?) for $950 on my return date in July (bt-store.com, vayama wouldn't process OW for me). Does it make sense to book this return, cancel my award seats on return (get the miles back for one way if this is possible). I Know time is short. advice?
Never done anything like this before.

The BT-store booking confirmation page gives little comfort:

"We will notify you immediately by e-mail or phone in case we would have trouble ticketing your reservation. This includes declined credit card authorizations and fare pricing issues that may occur at the time of ticketing. You will be charged only for the amount and the itinerary you booked online."

Expect calls and emails soon?

The first rule of mistake fares is "you don't talk to the airlines". The second rule of mistake fares is "you don't talk to the airlines!" (Thank you Fight Club)

And for those that are wondering - KE F/P/R credits to DL at 150%
Expect the fare to pass .. once you price it, it is gone.

I can make this work to the USA with various carriers and to Vancouver with KE.

Can anyone see it work to GRU, BOG, YYZ ? Without transiting USA and without using KE ?

Whatever routes work for me I seem to be stuck with KE in F and J.

My RGN-BKK-ICN-YVR return just ticketed

Remember that e-tickets risk being cancelled by any airline on your itinerary. The only way to safeguard it is to issue as paper tickets.

I'm flying.

You've got to be prepared to do what it takes to position if you think it's worth it: award ticket, paid ticket, already in the neighborhood. BKK and SIN both have LCC options to RGN, there are probably other jumping off points that price more attractively than XXX-RGN...

Really? This is something I was unfamiliar with -- the paper ticket route. How do you tend to get paper tickets?

I am sure most people here do not buy into such things but travel insurance does not generally cover airline cancelations.

Not trying to be a naysayer. I'm been looking at this for the past 2 hours but can't seem to pull the trigger with vayama. Their CS seems to be really horrid. Is there a better site to use than them for this deal?

CS? Customer service? You're not trying to contact a human, are you?
