ATTENTION: I booked one of the First fares on KE, it did allowed me to select seats (picked row 1 on both the BKK to ICN and ICN to LAX segments) - but in the confirmation it says BKK - ICN - BKK is on Eco, and ICN to LAX and back is in Business.

Fortunately I did made a screenshot, as well as selecting the seats 1D etc. each time, so it should be quite easy to let them know I booked F and want to travel F (or have the ticket cancelled)

Yuropflyer, thanks. I was able to get an itinerary on bt-store also. But farthest out I could get was mid-March 2013, but could not get a end June, early July 2013 date. So have not booked yet, and I could not see any fare conditions for change of dates, even after flying first sector.

Let's see how long until someone calls the airline to confirm their F seat selection.

Well, I'm having now RGN-BKK-ICN-LAX-ICN-BKK-RGN booked, with only the segment ICN-LAX-ICN in business, and the rest in Eco...

Still cheap for 450$, but even if they would honour that, I'm not sure if I want the (probably) expensive flight to RGN and all just for 2 segments in KE C..

I might have a good reason with screenshot showing F, and seat selection in row 1 on all KE flights, to I guess it's either F, or they cancel my flights

Rule one, DON'T CALL THE AIRLINES! Rule two - SEE RULE ONE!

or alternately

The first rule of mistake fares is "you don't talk to the airlines". The second rule of mistake fares is "you don't talk to the airlines!" (Thank you Fight Club)

And for those that are wondering - KE F/P/R credits to DL at 150%

Let's see....
LAX is less than half that and round trip is clocking in at $450-460 all in.

Has anyone figured out how to do an airport turn at RGN or do you all plan to stay at RGN?

I wouldn't do a turn there. If I do book I'll plan on staying a few days.

You have to supply the Myanmar embassy with your itinerary (ticketed/confirmed, so one visa service claims) so a turn may not be the best thing in the world...

As much as I'd like to try the KE A380 I'm actually looking for an all *A. There were others with Oneworld I saw including JL and BA. The one with BA I think it was a mix of all 3 alliances with BA leg being BKK-LHR.

I think I'm going with KE and the A380.

BA (well, London specifically) is not appealing at the moment. Plus I'm not seeing anything OW for the limited dates I can actually go there.
