I booked a ticket on Vayama and was charged $200 for the service fee. Their website says maximum of $45 for service charges. Why the discrepancy, does anyone know?

it will be very interesting to understand how to get a Myanmar multiple visa for "touristic" reasons.
Well, I think I'll wait some weeks to discover it.

You seeing this in F? I'm seeing RGN-BKK-NRT-YVR-LAX or RGN-BKK-ICN-NRT-YVR-LAX in J for ~$640 one-way.

I think he means some countries can get VOA in Myanmar, just not US passports.

I must be crazy after getting burned on the KE Palau fiasco... but just booked two OW RGN to SFO for $425 each. Final leg is KE from ICN in First. Other carriers were $200 more in biz. I guess I can dream.

post #299 did. I've seen all *A to the west coast. SFO, LAX? I can't remember I've seen sooo many .

Oh, here's one (in June 2012, though, as an example) RGN-BKK-HND-LAX on TG/TG/NH. $530 ai, o/w, all in D fare.

Which is still false. Not even the Chinese can go visa free anymore.
There are NO visa on arrival facilities - it was only a brief experiment, which is now suspended.

I should also add, there is no HIP check to my knowledge if you do a stopover in YVR.

If booking on BT, are you responsible for the $100 cancellation when/if the airlines kick this back?

Me too. If it is any consolation, I didn't book it either!

If the airline doesn't honor the ticket, the answer is absoultely no.

(that's what credit card disputes are for!)

So if I'm just now getting up to speed on this, do you guys recommend trying to book with V or BT?

I'm looking to get back to either JFK or IAD, but can do LAX if there's no other way to get *A fares.

Looking at soonish--around May 27-30th--anyone had any luck then?
