For the Star Alliance folks, I booked RGN-BKK-NRT-SFO for $451 all business class. Flying with Thai, UA (ANA operated) and ANA on March 9th, 2013.

Pulled the trigger on a RGN-BKK-LHR-JFK in Feb 13 as I'll be in Perth anyway for an exhibition, so I'll have a play with some flights to position myself from Perth.

It's on Thai, BA and Delta, so no risk of any KE shenanigans.

Now we wait...

Booked RGN-->BKK (overnight)-->NRT-->SFO for this fall. RGN-->BKK is in TG business; BKK-->NRT and NRT-->SFO is in NH business. Received ticket number within 20 minutes after booking on Vayama. ^ Ticket issued on NH stock.

I'm fully ticketed RGN-BKK-ICN-LAX, even for the KE segment. If this fare is not honored, at what point would I find out?

These fares are still showing up on Opodo in the UK as of now. I'm almost tempted to book one but really don't have time to investigate options as I'm dashing to the airport to fly another cheap trip in about 10 minutes time.

FYI, getting a Myanmar visa in the UK is (for Brits at least) very quick, cheap and easy. I visited last month and had to wake the gentleman in the Embassy in London up to process me as it was so quiet. My passport was ready the same week.

Noticed that some flights dont show up in vayama or best travel and vice-versa.
So be sure to check different websites for more flight options.
