[FARE GONE] UA/CO: BWI-LAS/SAN RT $222ai (also ABQ/TUS/AUS/SAT/OKC)
Repeat of mid-week sales over the last month or so.
Sample: Mar 13-14 BWI-EWR-LAS-SFO-BWI $222, 5252 miles (4.2cpm), 5760mi (3.9cpm) with 500-mile minimums.
Scattered other dates available. Similar fares to ABQ/TUS/OKC/AUS/SAT but less worthy of mileage runs.

Indeed. These have been regular but short-lived (and generally increasing in price as they reappear -- they started at $155 with a wider variety of cities and better availability when they first appeared 4-5 weeks ago).
I recall that UA had sales from BWI in a similar pattern last year. Does anyone remember when they started and how long they kept coming back up? I've got BWI-SAN still to fly from the tail end of the sales last year, so they must have kept reappearing until at least early April.
Keep your eyes open in case this year is like the last. Google Flights has been useful for checking, but they sometimes display the fares hours past when they're pulled.

These things come and go. Last year, UA targeted US at PHL for retaliation and we got similar transcon fares from there. These fares tend to be the lowest per mile fares available from the area, and obviously make nice cheap leisure trips.

I keep getting phone calls from UA/CO announcing schedule changes on my BWI itineraries -- like once a week. Just yesterday, I got a call from a UA rep in India telling me my May flight would now be operated by "Continental Airlines" (and shifted by 5 minutes). I said "OK, thanks for letting me know." But I thought there was no more Continental Airlines after this Saturday. Did the word not reach India yet?
