[FARE GONE] EY: MXP-AUH-CGK-AUH-CDG $379.80 ai (2.64cpm on AA)

CGK = Jakarta, Indonesia.
I booked myself for November 19-27 with ~24 hours stopovers in Abu Dhabi on both ways. Probably more dates are available.

Booking class is E, which earns 100% on AAdvantage.
14366 miles in total for $379,80 = 2,64cpm.

I'm looking forward to this trip ! I'm really curious to see Etihad's Y-class product!

Thanks OP - very nice fare.
From the fare rules:
TICKETS MUST BE ISSUED ON/AFTER 02NOV 11 AND ON/BEFORE 04NOV 11.
ALL TRAVEL MUST BE COMPLETED BY MIDNIGHT ON 14DEC 11.

Similar fares also available to BKK and a few other destinations. CPM a bit higher, but still decent for a MR.

Promotion has been extended till 8th of November.

Cheapest cpm I found was MXP-AUH-ICN.

Btw, it was reported in earlier thread, I don't know why it didn't get much action, the fares are extremely good.

Where are you booking through?
The Matrix shows flights, but none of them appear on aa.com.

Class "E" fares without the AA flight # seem to earn RDM only, not EQM.

Yes, that's only RDM.

Even better fares with IST involved.

Example IST-AUH-CGK-AUH-MXP for 275 USD, that's 2,1cpm.

Unfortunately only RDM and no elite bonus...

Only if you booked an AA flight number, which I couldn't find for most of the segments.
No AA flight # = no EQM.

If you booked through Etihad, then you get AA RDM, but you don't get status.

Yes, that's Milan-Malpensa, Italy. From Europe it's easy and cheap to get there, Some low-cost carriers (like Easyjet) fly there. "Normal" carriers like KL, AF, AZ and LH cost just a little bit more (roundtrip prices €100,=-ish from AMS).

You won't be able to find AA-codes on an itinerary that originates outside the US or doesn't travel to the US. That goes for all code-share partners.

I'm not sure that's true. LHR-CGK neither originates in nor travels to the US, but as a one-way flight search in aa.com I see this as the very first option:

AA 101 LHR-JFK
AA 6087 JFK-HKG Operated by Cathay Pacific
AA 6109 HKG-CGK Operated by Cathay Pacific

It does transit in the US and is in conjunction with an AA metal flight. Try finding it with an AA code crossing Europe and Asia only.
