Damn, i was just looking for a trip for this weekend but couldn't make it to LAX to catch a flight departing in 2 hrs. $480 to ZRH was very attractive. Bummer.

and I didn't think to check FT till now...oh well.

Wow...$403 from my tiny middle of nowhere airport, too bad I'm obligated to stay here this weekend. Nonetheless great find OP, hope many of you can take advantage!

EWR - AMS is still available leaving tonight at 9:30 for $424...

On a side note, I've never started a thread with so many views and replies before! It's very satisfying and I'm understanding the addiction now :D

there's a 9:40p EWR-YUL-GVA-IAD-IAH-EWR for 360a/i.

Yobz Apr 8, 2011 5:14 pm

On a LAX-JFK 10pm inbound flight otherwise I would all over this. Europe for a weekend for ~400, amazing!

so if you skipped the train from ZFV(PHL) could you get on at EWR? Is the Amtrak system connected? If not, This would be useful for someone in NYC

Works from IAD 953pm connecting to EWR-GVA Saturday.

ZFV is heavily discussed (for the past 7 years) here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/conti...ak-co-faq.html

I actually live in Center City Philadelphia, so I would've used the ticket. But as long as someone can pick up the ticket for you before departure, feel free try your luck.

My understanding is that it's not a problem if it's the last trip in your leg. As for starting your journey, Amtrak doesn't scan tickets on the train; you just have to pick it up at the quiktrak machine. I live and work about 15 min from the station, so feel free to PM me if you ever need help "checking in."

You can can do a same day turn in ZRH or GVA from SFO if you stick to CO metal. Leave tonight, arrive back Sunday night, for ~$500. Its nearly 13,000 EQMs under 4 cents/mile. Better hurry though, check-in closes in under 3hrs.
