(FARE GONE) DL: BOS/MIA/TPA/JAX/MCO-AMS business class $1,360 All summer long

This is even cheaper than their $1,450 LHR business class fares. Looks like the same rules- purchase by March 31, fly by Aug 31, I fare. Tons of availability all summer long- great way to get to Europe basically for the price of coach. Remember I fares earn 50% MQMs and Skymiles.

Delta has a 24 hour risk-free guarantee, so as long as you buy on Delta.com you can cancel with no penalty up until 11:59pm the next day

Can route through a number of hubs, not just BOS/MIA. Screen shots and more details on my blog.

These Delta fares are going to bankrupt me!

A great deal if you HAVE to get to Europe this summer and want a more comfortable trip. It's obviously silly to pay about the same to sit in the back when transatlantic biz class is significantly better.

My dilemma is that I WANT to take my family of 5 to Europe this summer but don't want to pay $6700 in airfare even if we'd be comfortable.

I figure a cheap summer European coach airfare deal might surface eventually. If not, as they say in France, c'est la vie. We can continue to go off-season at the crazy mileage run prices that periodically surface.

BOS-AMS DL Fare (posted by OP) good for Easter weekend and AA is matching very closely (1400) for BOS-AMS.^

No love from Star Partners.

These fares are a steal. I'm seeing $1450 AI for MIA-AMS with TATL on AF. Look for these fares 90 days out though. Wish these were good for O/W travel also since it would be a nice way to save some miles traveling over to Asia.

Also, I'm seeing MCO-AMS for $1735 on CO/LH/AC metal via IAH. I'm sure there are other options also.

Great find OP! Based on the new DL awards charts, I am thinking of doing a crazy quasi-round-the-world with this for my honeymoon. First go to AMS on this routing ($1364 RT). Then use miles for AMS-Maldives biz class (only 80k roundtrip for Europe-South Asian Subcontinent! Ride on CZ and route thru CAN). Then train around Europe when we get back to AMS. What what!!!

Relatively new to mileage runs, so forgive the question, but why do I fares only receive 50% MQM?

You get 150% total MQM on I fares. The 50% is a bonus

Sounds nice, but just beware that Delta adds a crazy "foreign origination" surcharge to itineraries beginning in Europe. Be prepared to pay $400+ in fees per ticket. Still work it to go to Maldives, but just FYI

AA has matched. $725++ RT -- literally cheaper than the economy fares for summer travel.

You mean 725 one way?

I just priced BOS-AMS RT on AA for Easter 1265$ a.i.

It involves a 12-hour overnight layover in LHR...not fun.
