[FARE GONE] All airlines matching war against AA/DL: MIA-ORD/IAD-LHR, $725+ Business
I couldn't believe my eyes when I was able to purchase round trip from MIA to CDG today for $632 each way in confirmed business (I inventory). This is less expensive than they're currently selling in coach. The fare seems to be available in multiple days in July. I haven't checked other months...

AA nonstop on 767. Pretty excellent fare for mid-summer travel!
Fare basis is IR00SL, nonrefundable, and $400 change fee.
Works from BOS too!
MIA Is quite the place for TATL travel, as London is still pulling up at $1500 for the same dates on DL, AA, KL, etc.

Many thanks for sharing! But note that this is already being discussed in another thread. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/milea...biz-class.html
Mods can you merge these two thread?

On some flights cheapest coach is $1,500 (one way) and Business is $635.
Options through BOS-CDG and to LHR-CDG from MIA are available, both on AA metal and codeshares on BA.

They've now matched MIA-LON, too, for the non-stop only. $1498.50, 13,275 MQM.
The AA fare is a bit cheaper, allows for an open jaw in Europe and can yield more miles, but DL is my status carrier and I have no status with AA, so I guess I'll fly DL to London for my summer Europe trip.

Is the fare more expensive BACK from Europe, as that's when most of the transatlantic taxes are collected (leaving Europe, entering USA)?
Not sure how many people here agree with me but, unless I was going to travel to Europe anyway and my alternative was to pay nosebleed summer coach prices, I wouldn't pay even $1300 to sit in biz class across the Atlantic. That said, I agree that this is a rational fare to pay out of your own pocket if you fancy a little extra transatlantic comfort.
