(FARE GONE) Aa/as: Rdu-lax $115 ai each way

$115 each way

Fare basis: QA10GQJ1

PERMITTED MON/TUE/WED/THU

Fare valid through end of schedule

10 day advance purchase

With the AA version your only good option is RDU-ORD-LAX

AS Routing rules are: RDU-BOS-CHI-SEA-PDX-SEA-LAX

The AS verions allows RDU-ORD-SEA-LAX and RDU-ORD-SEA-PDX-LAX
I don't see the AS code on any RDU-BOS, so doesn't look like BOS can be done.

Rules include:

UNLIMITED TRANSFERS PERMITTED

THE FARE COMPONENT MUST NOT BE ON
ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING
AS FLIGHTS 6000 THROUGH 6749.
AND
THE FARE COMPONENT MUST NOT BE ON
ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING
AS FLIGHTS 5000 THROUGH 5999.
AND
THE FARE COMPONENT MUST NOT BE ON
ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING
AS FLIGHTS 3000 THROUGH 3199

Yes, $140 for 3701 miles RDU-ORD-SEA-PDX-LAX isn't that good - agreed.

- It is a cheap fare if you have to go to LAX but not MR. OW fares to west cost from RDU were climbing from $119+tax in last Dec to $154+tax now till this sale of $94+tax OW to LAX that started last week.

Thank you OP.
How can I book AS flight? I am trying to book RDU-ORD-SEA-LAX on 3/10. I can find AA with $115 but not with AS(260+). I used alaska air, kayak and ITA. For a return flight, I managed to find this fare with kayak.

It is a Q fare so there has to be Q seats on all segments to get that price.

thanks for posting this. Too bad I don't have enough time to do an extended AS routing. AS often is more generous in their routing rules than other US carriers I think - in my limited experience flying them.

nice that it is good thru eos.

Wouldn't you get double miles if you were AA Plat or Ex-Plat? That would certainly sweeten the pot. And couldn't it be done in the opposite direction?
