It's also possible to earn a few extra miles/EQMs by routing thru DFW-LAX on both the outbound and return. (promo: LASF2, thru 28 Feb)

just doing the math (note: for my flight dates.. outbound is $186 and return is $210 so if you can do different days, you can save another $25 bucks)
IAD-DFW-LAX-HNL RT would be 12,394 EQM's for $463.30 or 3.73 cp/eqm
if you have a 20% off code that brings the total down to $384 even or 3.09 cp/eqm
now I'm just sitting here trying to break this up with an overnight at LAX in order to make these crappy planes (757) somewhat bearable
just doing the math (note: for my flight dates.. outbound is $186 and return is $210 so if you can do different days, you can save another $25 bucks)
