From the linked article:
In the past eleven months alone, I've earned without flying:

• 130,000 American Airline miles
• 105,000 British Airways Miles
• 40,000 Starwood Preferred Guest points
• 25,000 American Express points

Anaesthesiologist. I was more concerned with my contract and the consequences of breaking it. In all seriousness what this guy is doing is my dream. I'd love to just wander the Earth for a few years. Jobs, wives and children are the only hurdles to negotiate so no big deal right? There's always hope
