Probably because you are not going to NYC!

NYC is one of the 3 destinations for the promo.

You are departing FROM NYC, that is WHY it is not working!

I ran my first on my account, but had to run second as guest, even with separate card. Getting ready to do third. Year-end UA SR! Yay!

Is there any way to do same day turns?

The first case you quote does not depart or arrive from NYC, so I don't know what you're talking about.
The second case (myself) works because LAS is my destination. The fact that I'm leaving from EWR is irrelevant.

Please, read again what the posters above have told you.

They booked SEA-JFK, or LAX-JFK. Or EWR-LAS.

JFK is the destination, or LAS is the destination.

It does not work both ways. Once again, NYC, LAS & CUN are the 3 DESTINATIONS that are good for the promo.

If you dont see what is wrong with your booking, then nobody can make you understand the WHY.

I booked SFO-LAS Dec 11-12. Staying at Residence Inn. Anyone going the same weekend let me know.

Good that I still have my Canadian credit card. ^

I just got it to work from PHL-LAS but the site rejected the voucher for NYC. I tried itin from YUL to JFK and even had the correct Manhattan hotels selected. For those who got NYC to work, did you use JFK or LGA?

As the title says (and subsequent addition of NYC and CUN), it's TO Las Vegas.

So NYC-LAS or CUN = Yes; NYC-anywhere else = No

If you reside in any of the 3 cities listed, then you only have 2 options; if you reside outside of the 3 cities listed, you can go to any of them.

Glad you have your Canadian CC but you don't need one to book this deal. American CC's are working as well.
