This is the place where old Twares (UA Twitter fares) are retired.

To catch the fares when they are fresh, follow @UnitedAirlines on Twitter.com to receive Twares when they are first released.

There are so many kinds of twares released; hopefully this archive helps you with info on the twares released and possibly prepare you for the new ones.

Cheers,
BiziBB, for the Mod team, Mileage Run forums

[FARE GONE] UA: Tware to YVR ~4cpm

Details here.

Minimum stay- 2 nights OR Friday night OR Saturday night

sample fare- 229ai ORD-YVR 4/3-4/4 gives ~4.2cpm

If you are creative and "tricky", could be useful to construct MR off of your spare legs...

Seems to be available on several dates, try another weekend. I just found $229 on 4/10-4/11 ORD-SFO-YVR-SFO-ORD

I'm finding $229 before taxes ORD-YVR but not $229ai.

Fare seems to be available in reverse too, BTW.

No tricks. As with the recent MEX tware, can only use the code on straight roundtrips.

I think the poster meant it could be combined nicely with an int'l trip with a third strike up north.

Might have meant that, but my post was pointing out that the coupon making this (and the other) tware happen is only good for simple roundtrips. When I searched multicity, the coupon requirements were enforced on all legs. CANADA/CELEBRA didn't work on segments not involving YVR/Mexico. Hence one couldn't use this as an add-on for tricking purposes.

I believe some twares book into non-mileage-earning classes, but this is not one of them. (Usually they're very well marked as "not a mileage earning fare".) This one booked into class L.

True enough. Originally made the comment thinking that a person with 2 tricked itins use something like this to make 2 MR's out of potential lemons, but they more likely would have just married their spare legs already. In retrospect, given the limitations (round trip/limited cities/limited time frame), the probability of this idea helping someone was quite slim.

From all I see, FARE GONE

If you look at the title and location of the thread, it should also show 'fare gone'.
