Thanks OP!
Well, could not see how others buy and bought another unnecessary toy.

And the ticket is indeed annotated as NON-REF but nowadays it does not necessarily mean that the ticket is in fact non-refundable.

I wonder if these will be honored... HA is a small airline and has to pay KE in addition...
I am in for a one-way around Christmas and have secured a UA F class to ICN, that would be a nice mini vacation in Korea. But let's see if it will be honored.
Oh, and a big thank you to the OP.

Thanks for sharing the find, bobbybrown. ^
I tried to book ICN-HNL-LAS one-way, but choosing the HNL-LAS redeye habitually caused an intractable error. The afternoon departure worked fine, but I wanted more of a layover at HNL to soak up the sun and the sand.
Ended up booking ICN-HNL-LAX instead, which gives me 23 hours on Oahu. If anybody is successful in turning a layover into a proper stopover down the road -- especially for free -- please let me know.
I booked a UA one-way award to ICN on the front end of my trip. Thank heavens that one-way awards at half the price of a round-trip are now an option on UA. They're perfect for opportunities like this.
